I’m Alayna, an illustrator and visual development artist based in Kansas City (not Kansas). Growing up as the oldest of four siblings and a lot more cousins, I love art with a sense of childlike wonder and adventure!
I draw inspiration from movies, fashion, music, and anywhere else stories are told, and I incorporate all these interests in my creative work. I love to bring life to all kinds of characters and critters, and experiment with light, texture, and atmosphere in the scenes I create. I work in several mediums, and I am always looking for new ways to combine digital and traditional techniques.
I believe creativity and imagination are an essential part of life and I want to use mine to show people truth, goodness, and beauty!
